Service Coordinator – Wider Wellington

Full-time – Service Coordinator

About the role
This is a full-time Service Coordinator working in the Wellington / Kapiti area. The hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with part of the role requiring you to be on call.

The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task across different services. A sense of humour and strong communication skills are essential.

Duties
Maintain organisational processes and systems.
Resolve conflict and/or complaints that may arise in the delivery of service.
Develop and review support plans in partnership with the family / whanau and the behavior support team.
To monitor the quality of services to individuals against the organization quality assurance framework.
Experience with managing and rostering staff.
Coordinate services in compliance with Community Connections policy and procedures and contractual obligations.
Building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders (NASC, Oranga Tamariki).
Undertake administration tasks such as approving timesheets, monthly reporting, service agreement renewals, budget control etc.
Recruit, orientate, coach, hold monthly meetings. maintain and develop a high caliber of support workers to match the people we support.
Disciplinary inquiries and performance management processes

Experience, Skills and attributes:
MUST have a minimum Level 4 qualification in either the disability, social work, nursing, health sector
MUST have management experience (managing staff, coaching and mentoring)
Leadership experience and skills
Mentoring and coaching experience
Report writing skills and technology competence
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have a valid First Aid Certificate
