    Community Connections is a community based support service for people with a lived experience of disability. We support each person to live their good life within a citizenship framework. Support looks different for each person with a focus on facilitating natural networks that endure. The aim being that people have the supports necessary to enable them to live in their own home, to connect with their community and to enjoy a fulfilling life.


    We are looking for team leaders for our supported living services. These positions are available in the Hutt Valley. These are new roles that are being established due to growth in our organisation. You will be providing people with support in their home and community, whilst also providing leadership to a small group of support staff. An understanding of bi cultural practice in Aotearoa New Zealand is important to this role.

    Experience with providing support is essential, and leadership experience is preferred but full training and ongoing support will be provided. The successful applicant will have a minimum of a level 3 certificate in Community Support, but ideally will hold a level 4 qualification. We have an internal learning programme and will assist the right candidates in gaining these qualifications. To access our web based scheduling and payroll system you will need to have your own 3G or 4G capable smartphone or tablet, and be competent with using it. We pay a data allowance for your work use. A full driver licence is required for this position.
